Public Service Announcement to All Athletes and Families
HOOP DREAMS ATHLETICS™ is committed to maintaining a safe, disciplined, and high-performance environment for all participants. As a competitive AAU program, we uphold standards that reflect integrity, accountability, and respect for self and others.
Zero Tolerance Policy
The possession, use, distribution, or being under the influence of illegal drugs, controlled substances (without a valid prescription), alcohol, vaping products, tobacco, or any intoxicating substance is strictly prohibited at all times while participating in team-related activities. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Practices
- Games and tournaments
- Team travel
- Team meetings
- Conditioning sessions
- Any event or activity representing HOOP DREAMS ATHLETICS™
This policy applies regardless of whether the activity occurs on or off the court when the athlete is representing HOOP DREAMS ATHLETICS™.
Violation & Consequences
Any athlete found in violation of this policy will be subject to immediate termination of team membership with HOOP DREAMS ATHLETICS™.
Termination may include, but is not limited to:
- Removal from the active roster
- Suspension from all team activities
- Forfeiture of participation privileges
- No refund of team fees
All determinations regarding violations will be made at the sole discretion of HOOP DREAMS ATHLETICS™ leadership and are final.

Participation in HOOP DREAMS ATHLETICS™ is a privilege, not a right. Our program is designed to develop discipline, character, leadership, and athletic excellence. Substance use undermines personal health, team integrity, and competitive readiness.
We expect our athletes to represent themselves, their families, and HOOP DREAMS ATHLETICS™ with honor at all times.
By participating in the program, athletes and guardians acknowledge understanding and agreement with this policy.
