Hoop Dreams Athletics is the best AAU Basketball team in Atlanta, Georgia. We have both girls and boys AAU basketball teams in Atlanta. We also have the best girls AAU team in the Raleigh/Durham area. If you are in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Virginia, or West Virginia – you meet the bordering state rule and you can play in our program! Hoop Dreams Athletics develops every athlete in the program. You don’t have to be ranked to play here, just come prepared to be developed and work hard.
All of the faces that you see here, came to us with no scholarship offers. None of these girls where on anyone’s ranking list. They were all overlooked and hated on. These girls came to our program and where willing to go through our development process. The important thing to remember is, we DEVELOP every player in our program (from the best player to the worst player). We are the best AAU team in Atlanta, Georgia!

It’s interesting to think that some of you have never heard of us; however, Hoop Dreams Athletics has athletes playing in EVERY Power 5 conference in the nation. We have been doing this for 27 years and have put hundreds of girls in college. We have done all of this and are not a SHOE League team! This program has defied all of the POLITICS and PAYOLA that is now all of AAU Basketball. We put our players before our EGO’s. Our core belief is to develop even player that puts on our uniform. Hoop Dreams Athletics actually began in North Carolina over 2 decades ago. We believe in quality over quantity, so we will do not want to have a large number of teams. This is done to ensure that we will always know every player that puts on our uniforms. Some programs simply stockpile players, and that’s because they do care about the athletes. They care about how much money they make off of the athletes.
Hoop Dreams Athletics is one of the top AAU programs in the nation. We travel the country plays in the biggest events to ensure that our athletes are in front of D1 College Coaches. During our upcoming season we will be playing in tournaments in Alabama, Chicago, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Wisconsin. Over 30 years we have athletes receive over 427 Million Dollars in full academic scholarships. We don’t view this as recreation, we view sports as an opportunity to changing futures. We have a 100 percent rate of athlete to scholarship ratio.
